So, he signed the bill to release the Epstein files?

It literally took an act of Congress for the files to be released!

Umm! I smell a rat? He may have signed the bill, but he has to release the file. He will have the DOJ slowly release it or release part of the file and say that the other part is pertinent to their own investigation into their made up investigation.

This will become a farce and will result in more conspiracy theories about what is really in the file. But one thing is most likely not in the file is Trump’s name and names of his prominent supporters and friends? They’ve whitewashed the file and it will take several months for it all to come out. It’s his way of damage control. Lie, lie and lie again then blame it on all other people.

So, you see? This will take a long time to come to an end.

If it takes many months, it will be released a lot closer to November 2026 so that it's fresh on everyone's mind for the midterms.

Active investigation excuse. Of course they will leak names of Democrats, likely even some that have no involvement, but pose a political threat to the oligarchs. Expect them to release lots of already known documents, documents with lots of redactions, and none with the names of prominent Republicans, with the exception of some they may also see as a political threat. The best we can hope for is that someone who has access to the entirety of the files hands them to the NYTs.
