Republican House Members going into the 2026 Midterms:

Damned if you do and damned if you don't.

If you criticize TSF, you might rally "the base" a/k/a MAGA. And they'll come out to vote. And you may well lose your primary. Start packing.

And if you don't criticize TSF and you win your primary, it will be too late. You won't get the votes of Never-Trumpers and Independents. They're not really voting against you as much as vicariously, they're voting against Trump. Start packing.

the base rebels. He stays, the midterms could be an unimaginable loss and rebuke. Could not have happened to a better party.
