GOSH! Some DOGE-sh*t staffers are SAD that they ended up being hated for f*cking over America.That...is...just...SAD.

Some DOGE staffers lamented "mistakes" the agency made while it tried to slash federal spending, which caused the department to become hated by its colleagues, according to a new report.

One of President Donald Trump's first actions in his second term was to create the Department of Government Efficiency, which was led by Elon Musk. The purpose of DOGE was to decrease federal spending by up to $2 trillion, according to the agency, although the amount of money the department saved the government is still unknown.

Nine former DOGE staffers spoke to Politico about their experience working for Musk's agency. They noted multiple missteps the agency made, which put them squarely at odds with people who could have helped them fulfil their mission.

“The height of our power was the five-bullets email,” a DOGE official told Politico, referring to the "Fork in the Road" email Musk sent to government employees asking them to accept deferred resignations. The officials described the email as a "mistake" that "pitted DOGE against departments and agencies who were increasingly frustrated by Musk’s lack of communication and heavyhandedness," according to the report.

“Then it turned into fear and revulsion and hatred," the staffer said.

alongside the names of the people who did it.

Every US citizen should know precisely who did what to them.

8. I also have a real issue with the concept of Musk as "untouchable." We have to change that..

I'd put that reptile in front of a Congressional committee and grill the bastard like a steak.

Not only do we not know what his boy toys got away with...we don't know what HE got away with, and we have the right to know. His billions should not be a barricade that locks out legality. Right now, obviously, that IS the lay of the land. It's because that's the way Republicans want it. We need to eradicate the whole Federalist Society "permanent Republican rule" crap. I know, easier said than done, but that doesn't mean it SHOULDN'T be done. Some things are worth fighting for. This is one of them. There's no reason that cockroach should have my Social Security number and bank account info...NONE.

It bugs me when articles like this one refer to him as such.

7. No, it's not nitpicking at all. I took it out and wrote an explanation of the edit.

My apologies, these things seem to be getting more careless and sloppy in recent days. Sometimes I don't read every word of an article when i copy and paste and of course, you're 100% correct, he is NOT the founder and it's 100% bogus for the "media" to keep perpetuating that.

I will make the commitment to be more careful about posting these things in the future. Thanks for speaking out about it.

And yet, despite all of that, I've read more accounts of that twat COSTING AMERICA MONEY than I have of his "saving" America one red cent.

Biggest issue, though, is how he unnecessarily broke the system, for no reason other than cruelty and ego, so that people found it impossible to get the help they needed from field offices in person OR on the phone.
