A death in the extended DU family
Blue Full Moon wrote me yesterday asking IF it was OK to post about the death of a nephew because I'm a host. I said to put it in the Lounge. It hasn't got much attention there.
The DU has had all kinds of fundraisers. I hope you will click the link below and make a small donation. A K and an R would also be appreciated.
Here is Blue Full Moon's email to me from yesterday: I was wondering if I could post a go fund me for my nephew. He died a couple of days ago. He didn't have insurance and his brother died the year before. His parents are not well off. He had a tooth infection. It damaged his heart. So the doctors repaired the valve but it caused blood clots. He passed out at the hospital and hit his head. That's when they found the clots. His intestines were almost not functioning but if they did more surgery the blood thinners would cause brain bleeding due to the head injuries. He had no brain activity. The family signed to have him be a donor. His children are young adult to high school.
