you wouldn’t be stuck on a cruise ship with any obnoxious MAGATs!

I’ll have to pass. I’m not a cruise ship person. Plus I could only afford maybe two days.

Wasnt a political escape theme. Just a permanent cruise. Kind of like living at a resort hotel that constantly moved around.

It went under, not literally, just stopped cruising and stranded all the prepaid passengers.

What better patsies than a shipful of libs?

Right along the lines of wanting a fresh start every spring. As I’ve gotten older, that need has diminished a bit. Whenever I see the ads for school supplies, I want to become a full time student and immerse myself in a different environment, like a cocoon.

So, back to fleeing during the tRump reign of terror:
After I analyze what I want to escape, I realize my vulnerabilities will follow me, even on a cruise ship. I’m a 70 year old married straight white female. My main achilles heel is my need for Medicare and Social Security. Even on a cruise ship, he can still “get to me”. As far as my meager retirement 401K, I just moved it to a money market fund which will now earn interest instead of the roller coaster I was experiencing in the stock market. No more stomach pain every time the market dips. As far as my green-card permanent resident British husband, if Trump decides to deport him? Well, that will cause some problems. I seriously doubt he will target him. It would cause ripples much larger than tRump wants to create.

Am I only thinking of myself? Yes of course. That’s what the premise of fleeing on a cruise ship is based on. But, I don’t have the money to do it.
