They will find a way to help trump avoid jail time. 100% sure of this.

Otherwise, for his safety, this judge will have to leave the country with his family. Not happening.

doing the right thing takes more courage than most people possess.

Is the Supreme Court. I have no doubt they would not allow it.
And yes, they can overrule a state court as easily as a federal court.

or a conviction. I was wrong about this one. He got convicted. But our justice system is so crooked, so stacked against all of the rest of us in favor of those with money, because the legal profession is so corrupt, and has built in so many delays and ways to divert justice, it's worthless. He got the sentencing in this one delayed until after the election, and is very confident it will just go away like all other such criminal cases do.

We've not had a justice department representing the people since 2016, when the Obama Administration left Washington.

In reality, it's more likely that Judge Merchan will be arrested, tried, convicted and jailed for sedition.
As of January 20th, we live in Trump's world and he'll makes the rules and enforce the laws.
Look at his proposed cabinet. It looks more like an organized crime gang.

and Im tired of hearing that somehow, some way, some time he's going to be made to pay for his crimes. He'll never pay, not at least with time served. I might go so far as to ask that people stop posting these kinds of "maybe this" and "maybe that" BS because we've all had 9 years (New Yorkers, more) of hearing that he'll get his comeuppance. Sorry but I'm fed up.

if you think Trump's Stormy Daniels hush-money case shouldn't be dismissed, and Trump should get the maximum 4-year jail sentence (maybe after his presidency), or whatever, these e-mail addresses should work, to contact Judge Juan Merchan, Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg, and Bragg's counsel Matthew Colangelo, to advise courage, not being intimidated by Trump, and not putting Trump above the law,

jmerchan@nycourts.gov

bragga@dany.nyc.gov

colangelom@dany.nyc.gov

I'll even give a sample template (but tweak it as you like),

Dear Judge Merchan [or DA Alvin Bragg and ADA Matthew Colangelo]:

Please do not give Donald Trump immunity for his 34 felony convictions in the Stormy Daniels hush-money case. He deserves a maximum sentence, 4 years in prison, for his dishonest actions designed to keep the American people from knowing about his extramarital affair before the 2016 election. Thank you,

Sincerely,
[you]

Too, I see this phone number for Merchan's courtroom, 646-386-4059, if you want to leave a message for him.
And this number for Bragg's main office (not his personal one), 212.335.9000.

We've seen Trump scooping fries at Mickey D's and driving a garbage truck. This would let him play Al Capone running a criminal organization from his jail cell.
