Does it bother you that Trump is immune from the law?

Were you under the impression all these years that no one was above the law?

But, nobody understands the court system better than Trump. The "appeals" process was created just for him. He knows he will never spend a day in jail, no matter if he shoots someone in the middle of 5th Avenue.

I suppose it has destroyed an illusion that we all had about our Justice System? We never imagined that the law would be so weak and fragile when challenged by someone with money and power.

It is a new reality and it is depressing.

But we cannot give up on our Constitution. We must defend it and what it stands for.

A world that did not exist except on paper and in our imaginations.

We all assumed the judiciary would hold, but they folded like lawn chairs quite quickly.

In addition to federal law, it angers me that the state of New York seems to have let him off the hook for decades.

I'm curious about whether a coup might take place, to be honest.

But what clearly is not going to happen: We are not going to incrementally restore the rights and equitable treatment that we previously enjoyed.

It was never perfect, but I don't know when it has been so heavily weighted to reward crime and protect criminals, as long as they have the wealth to cover the costs.

And I wholeheartedly agree with all you said: it is my duty to defend, protect and uphold the Constitution.

Any one who is not interested in doing that is un-American and should be deported to Putin’s Russia.

so to me there is no rule of law, the ship had sailed and I will likely invalidate any convictions unless it is my whim to punish some Chumper or should be committed type should I be called to serve on a jury and strongly encourage the same until the system just breaks down and the lies exposed.

And it makes my blood pressure rise just to think about it, so that's why I have to cut off all news for as long as he's still around 😔

For three years I've been screaming to my friends and relatives that nobody is above the law, and justice will catch up to him sooner or later... Now I feel like a fuckin' mark. 👎
