It's not so much that Mika and Joe Scarborough

went to kiss trump's ass, although that alone is repulsive. It's their attempt at defending it to their viewers that was so very despicable. They actually posited the possibility that since this is his last term (you know, because of the 22nd amendment) perhaps he won't feel the need to implement all the fascist policies that he's put forth or continue the threatening declarations against immigrants, women and - oh yeah - journalists. Perhaps he'll be a uniting force. Yes, they really said that.

That was just part of their apologia. There was more and it was absolutely disgusting, They are complicit.

elected in 2016. And they're normalizing him again.

They're idiots. And they're willing to sell the country out for ratings.

May their viewers finally see who and what they are and leave in droves.

I didn’t know what to think at first, but the more I thought about the more convinced I became that this is a terrible idea.
The reason is simple: Trump hasn’t changed. In fact, he has gotten worse. He is the same pathological liar and narcissistic sociopath he always has been. Only he is angrier and more deranged.
Mika and Joe are going to look like fools for thinking that they can have a normal conversation with Trump.

Yeah, I think this endeavor is going to backfire….bigly.

Virtually no middle ground on this. The reich doesn't watch them anyway. Now they've pissed off the bulk of what audience they did have. I hope, in reflection, they're both saying...Geez, that was dumb.

Secondly, spewing crazed policies and actually passing and implementing them are two different things. And any policy that will seriously impact the bottom line of capitalist America isn't going anywhere. Massive tariffs and undocumented round ups for a start. Hell, the US meat processing industry would collapse if they deported a big chunk of their workforce. You think Tyson will allow that to happen? Not likely. C suite and K Street won't allow it. They're far too invested in the status quo. The irony of America being saved by those we love to hate. Personally, I figure any enemy of my enemy is my friend at this point.

Have you forgotten that the corrupt SCOTUS 6 have made him a dictator. He can round-up, deport, imprison, even ordered someone killed with impunity, and just call out "next case."

And it could be one of the objecting capitalists.

Things will change drastically on Jan. 20.

He is drunk with power, out for revenge, and too stupid to understand the end results of anything he does.

That's how he bankrupted casinos, needed Russia to bail him out, and the presidency to keep him out of jail. He makes other people payfor his mistakes and attacks anyone who tries to stop him.

i hope you are right and I am wrong.

And I was so amused when I first READ IT this morning that I thought it was The Onion…..imagine that! Only to discover that it was real.

So off and away we go. No more profit driven media. NO AMOUNT OF explanation will EVER make me watch or support them again. NO AMOUNT.

They are complicit is absolutely correct.

Without seeing what happened, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt as far as their motivations. We are so worried about maga's intentions and maybe they somehow thought they could get ahead of things and convince trump to come back down to Earth. That said, they've had more than enough data over the years to know that trump is evil. He's not going to change. Either way, I'm tuned out. I won't be watching them anyway.

to make something perfectly clear to me that I already know! I have seen

straight through those two for however many years they have been a show.

This is just another inch-by-inch move to the right for the "democratic party"

which I hope everyone sees with their own eyes. Their faces are just two on

my "Avoid At All Costs" list.
