House Admin: "...alerting constituents that their Inauguration tickets are now simply "commemorative"

LOL!!

NEW: House administrator alerts Members of Congress about change to Inauguration ceremony -- and encourages Members to consider alerting constituents that their Inauguration tickets are now simply "commemorative"

Screwing over his followers on literal Day 1 is pretty perfect. It's downhill from here, folks.

Well, they can always storm the ceremony. They know the way.

suspended the 24 hour cancellation policy, and the MAGAts staying in the high demand hotels are screwed.

Of course, many were probably staying further out and that would not apply.

The weather forecast (for bitter cold) has been unambiguous for a week - they should have gotten word out about the change of venue days ago. The only thing that wasn't clear was how much snow may fall Sunday. Where's that tiny violin again?

Sensitivity to cold...

The impairment of temperature regulation due to dementia can have several significant implications and risks:

Hypothermia: Dementia may cause someone to become more susceptible to hypothermia, a condition where the body loses heat faster than it can produce it. Symptoms can include confusion, disorientation, and shivering, which can worsen existing cognitive challenges.

People who booked non-cancellable or non-refundable hotel rooms are screwed somewhat, but I would think that doesn't apply to a lot of people - Tons of hotel rooms in the area were still available, waaayyy more than usual and that probably translates to lower prices for the people who did book hotel rooms too.

https://www.nbcwashington.com/news/local/public-viewing-for-inauguration-moved-to-capital-one-arena-trump-says/3817289/

(Note: Capital One Arena is an indoor facility)

"We will open Capital One Arena on Monday for LIVE viewing of this Historic event, and to host the Presidential Parade," Trump said in part. "I will join the crowd at Capital One, after my Swearing In."

Capital One Arena seats a maximum of 20,000 people. It's not yet clear how it will be determined who will be allowed into the arena and where people are expected to go if crowds exceed 20,000.

JCCIC recommended that those in town for the inauguration who are unable to attend find other indoor events to watch. The Presidential Inaugural Committee is designating certain places to watch and will provide more information.

It does not appear the National Mall will be one of those designated places, as some fencing there was starting to be dismantled Friday, according to a senior administration official with direct knowledge of the situation, and there are no current plans to broadcast any events on Jumbotrons there.

36. Trumpers can still go
Fri Jan 17, 2025, 09:04 PM
Jan 17

I imagine a large number will still go to the national mall and party while democracy dies inside the capitol. They'll chant white supremacist slogans and use flames from burning crosses for their weenie roast - like a racist tailgate party. The inaug team will probably deploy a few displays close to the capitol or, at a minimum, loudspeakers so that citizens can hear their Nazi leader take the reins of our failing state. Few will cancel their flights and hotels.

I wonder how much money is saved by moving inside? I wonder where that unspent portion of the $200M inaug fund will go?

Trump missed a grift opportunity here: Trump-branded long underwear for the cold inauguration - made in China, of course - with built-in diapers. Trump-branded MAGA beanie caps with tin foil fibers woven in to block Democrat mind control. (We control the weather...why not the mind?) And Trump-branded gloves specially designed to be used for warmth during the day and for masturbation during the night.

I had read that some sickos were actually going to get married on the mall, during the ceremony, as a way to make the nuptials memorable.

The MAGA sickness never ends.

Traitor felon is off to a good start. Instead of enduring a few minutes of cold himself, he is screwing over his entire gang, except for the uber ultra oligarchs. Always room for them.
