Hegseth quote courtesy of Daily Kos. Irony is dead.

“If it was anyone other than Hillary Clinton, they would be in jail right now,” Hegseth said of the disclosure in 2016. He added, “If you are using unclassified means, there is the potential for and likelihood that foreign governments are targeting those accounts.”

Yes, Why did you do it?

... they are running the entire government "off book" in violation of multiple laws and to avoid retention of any record of their guilty knowledge and intent to break laws in plain sight. They know, and undoubtedly discuss the fact that their "talking points" are ridiculous lies. I'm sure if records were kept, they would also show the magnitude of their disdain for the American people, and particularly the people who buy into their transparent and absurd lies.

They also have no regard for human life or the fact their insane recklessness is going to cost lives.

It is criminal. It is pure evil. There are no other words for it.

These people like to act stupid, but they know exactly what they are doing. Create as much chaos as possible in the shortest amount of time. Speed is of the essence. And leave no trail.

Robert H Jackson discovered that his prosecution was made much easier because the nazis (and IBM) kept such beautiful records of all their crimes.

I would guess that tsf did learn something from the "how to be a nazi" books at his bedside. He will cover his tracks.

... failed to respond to court requests to produce documents. They submit declarations from the people claiming this or that happened under their authority, but no contemporaneous document showing they actually ordered or otherwise approved x, y or z, or even a document delegating authority.

One attorney discussing the various acts and how blatantly they are breaking laws without even an attempt to give courts "cover" to rule on their behalf found it all pretty stunning. She found it so reckless that she had a hard time seeing how even the most 47 regime-friendly court could find for them in the 100+ cases given how sloppy and reckless they are being.

I hope she's right, but I fear she may not recognize how truly captive SCOTUS is.

I believe an overwhelming demand for impeachment and removal by Americans across the political spectrum is the "check" we must work for. Nobody is coming to save us. We have to force the hands of our representatives and senators -- and do everything in our power to vote out those who don't stand up and do their damn duty. It is ultimately up to us to save ourselves and force our electeds to do their job. We the People are more than capable of being scarier than musk's billions.

And we can be figuring out how to build for that now. Work with groups we are associated with. Where possible find ways to coordinate efforts between the grassroots and more traditional pro-democracy orgs. Start now to organize July 4 events. Push efforts to lobby every Democrat in Congress to get on board and make July 4 a day of action unlike anything we've ever seen -- A Declaration of Independence from 47''s tyrannical regime.

Nothing to do with irony. These GOP perverts just love to project. Raving about rigged elections against the very people who serve democracy, calling others "unpatriotic" for representing American values, meanwhile rigging every election they can and serving Moscow on their knees.

They're only religious in the sincere hope that God does not exist, because they know where they're going if he does.

HILL wasn't routinely using that account for classified communications.

Just a few low lvl ones were sent to it.
