Susan Crawford Reacts to Brad Schimel's Disturbing Parenting Story
Wisconsin Supreme Court candidate Susan Crawford responded with dismay after being shown a clip of her opponent, Brad Schimel, recounting how he "psychologically beat the daylights out" of his 8-year-old daughter.
The clip, aired during an episode of the MeidasTouch podcast, featured Schimel describing how he interrogated his young daughter during a car ride, using the rearview mirror to pressure her into confessing a lie.
Crawford called the story “really sad” and said it made her heart break for the child:
"That was a really sad story. It just makes your heart break for that child."
