And being able to easily go to south to Toronto when it gets too cold in Minneapolis would be a godsend.

Or at least western Washington. The Trump-humpers east of the Cascades can fuck all the way off, and hopefully, die deep in medical bankruptcy.

I can imagine all of New England, New York, and the coastal Mid-Atlantic joining. Add in Northern Virginia (NoVa)

worked his way across that country, and then entered northwestern Montana from Alberta in the early 1900s.

Strictly speaking, he was an illegal immigrant. But by the time that was discovered and anyone cared, he was considered a pillar of the community, had married a US widow, adopted her two sons from a previous marriage, and begun raising a family of his own, which included seven daughters.

My maternal grandmom was born in Dallas, TX and went to join her parents, who had moved to Montana from Missouri, after her first husband died of appendicitis.

I was raised along the Hi-Line (US No. 2) in Montana and have always felt a great kinship with our neighbors to the north.

A lot of the blue states have the lion's share of the economic power in America. New York, California, Illinois, Michigan, etc. I would feel bad for Dems living in red states though.

Listen, that’s great but don’t come up here with crazy bullshit.

We have the monarchy on our money. No it’s not going away. Good Friday is a statutory holiday. No, it’s not going away. God is in the anthem, not going away. We have a governor general who is essentially a viceroy. Not going away. Hockey and especially kids hockey is fucking important and municipalities will spend fucktons of money on ice and arenas and no it’s not going away.

If you’re good with all that? Cool. Just don’t decide you need to remake Canada in your preferred image.

In the Oregon territory, over whether Oregon Territory (including now Washington State) would be part of US or British Columbia. As an Oregonian, I wish they'd chosen more wisely.
