Burma ( I refuse to call it Myanmar the name the military junta changed it to). Thailand has a lot of resources.

and I expect that would include anyone official from the USA. They're also accused (in the past, and therefore probably now) or diverting unaccompanied aid to only areas the junta controls. I wouldn't fault the US government for sending people and help to Thailand.
