Just a note about SSA This month

3. Is there some trump nonsense about everybody having to verify their eligibility?

I thought I heard or read something to that effect but I’ve yet to find it via Google. Haven’t missed a check through March. It’s sick that we are having to have such a discussion.

5. people have always had to verify their eligibility

in some cases they want in-person visits which wouldn't be so bad except they are also closing down a lot of SS offices - this will make it a huge burden on some, especially rural folk

7. At this moment, they are supposedly planning to close 27 offices out of 1200.
