Joe Rogan Slams Trump's Deportations to El Salvador

Joe Rogan said it’s “horrific” that innocent people could be getting swept up in the Trump administration’s effort to deport gang members and send them to El Salvador’s notoriously dangerous mega-prison, The Hill reports.

Said Rogan: “The thing is, like, you got to get scared that people who are not criminals are getting, like, lassoed up and deported and sent to, like, El Salvador prisons.”

He added: “It’s horrific. It’s horrific.”

There were plenty of signs of what would happen if he was elected and you helped spread the b*******.

he’d lose his audience. I don’t know if he’s playing dumb or if he is dumb. But if he doesn’t keep the message dumb, all those sweet, sweet millions go away.

11. Rogan endorsed Bernie Sanders

at one point. Endorsed Trump at another.

There was apparently serious talk about Harris going on the show, but it never happened. Doug Emhoff claimed the plans didn't happen because they were worried about progressive backlash. I think that was clearly a mistake.

There are a lot of voters that listen to Rogan and maybe don't have a lot of exposure to other forms of political coverage. You've got to be willing and able to go to where those people are, even if you don't like that place. It's the reason I think Newsom is actually making the right choice to be willing to talk to basically anyone.

13. His endorsing Sanders was just about being anti Hillary. And he had no intention of having Kamala Harris on his show.

18. And many have suggested

that the account in that book is more CYA from the same folks that derailed the interview.

The premise of Rogan negotiating in bad faith doesn't make much sense on the surface. If he didn't want to bring her on the show he could have just ignored them. And if the Harris campaign wanted to be on the show, a quick jaunt to Austin would have been a half day trip, nothing they couldn't have worked around. It's a couple hour flight from Phoenix to Austin, for example.

We didn't run a great campaign, clearly, and there are staffers who had a hand in that who want to put the blame anywhere else they can. I frankly don't want any of them near our 2028 candidate.

The same guy who complained about Trump putting kids in cages in his first term went on to endorse Trump in 2024 anyway.

He knew better and did it anyway. Why would any rational person believe anything Rogan says anymore. Says there should social safety nets while simultaneously licking the boots of Elon Musk. I detest them both.
