Donald Trump is a lame duck.

I know it bothers Donald to hear that.

I know some people are inclined not to bet against him given how many rules he's broken and gotten away with.

But when the SOB threatens to run for a prohibited third term, the automatic response should be that he's over with.

His days of influence are waning. His brand has withered, dried up and is blowing away.

No more coattails.

Expired like raw tripe left out overnight after its use-by date.

but here we are in the middle of the destruction of our country/society and the world. I would not call that a lame duck.

I think technically he isn't fully lame duck until he loses in 2028 to a Democratic successor and a Democratic House and Senate. That'd mess up his wing.

The Florida special elections might be interesting indicator.

At this point, the nation is riding in the back seat of a brake-less, plaid-mode, full-self-driving Tesla in with Trump and Musk "supervising" in the front seats between ketamine hits and naps.

We know there will be swerving, at least one big crash, and possibly fires throughout. It will be very expensive. People will die.
Somewhere in there, one would think, a 25th Amendment removal or a 3rd impeachment would occur and actually result in removal.

10. trump loves yanking our chain. Besides, he won't run because he'll be dead, drooling, or exiled in Greenland.
