Just imagine if Schumer had just gone to a speaking requirement for filibuster. What could the Biden and the Democrats accomplished?

I would think that a short list would have been

1. Making people pay into social security on earnings over $400 k which would permanently protect it (supported by the overwhelming majority of both parties).

2. Rational gun control laws

3. Renewal of the violence against women act

4. Codified roe v. Wade as the law of the land

5. Net neutrality

6. Extending and properly funding the ACA

7. Equal pay for equal work

I could go on. All of these would have helped a lot of people.

But because the OLD Senate leadership thought that protecting the racist legacy of the modified filibuster, the republican party and Putin were able were able to convince a lot of people that either the Republicans were better and vote for mango Mussolini or there are no real differences so just stay home.

Hats off to you Sen. Booker, I wish you were officially in charge of the Dems in the Senate.

10. Booker's 10-Hour Stand: A Beacon of Democratic Resistance!

Senator Cory Booker's tireless 10-hour stand against the Trump administration's disastrous agenda is a powerful testament to what Democrats are capable of. This is the kind of unwavering commitment we need to see from our elected officials. When our fundamental rights and democratic principles are under attack, we cannot afford to be silent.

Senator Booker is demonstrating the true meaning of "good trouble." He's using his voice, his platform, and his sheer determination to fight for what's right. This isn't just political theater; it's a critical defense against policies that would harm our communities, erode our democracy, and undermine our values.

The contrast between Senator Booker's courageous stand and the GOP's complicity couldn't be starker. While he's fighting tooth and nail, the Republicans are either silent or actively supporting Trump's destructive agenda. The #MGPisGOP hashtag is spot-on. We need to call out their inaction and demand that they stand up against fascism.

Senator Booker's actions highlight the power of persistent advocacy. It's a reminder that even in the face of overwhelming odds, we can make a difference. His example should inspire every Democrat to speak out, to organize, and to resist. We must be as relentless in defending our democracy as the Trump administration is in dismantling it.

Thank you, Senator Booker, for your unwavering dedication and your powerful voice. You are a true champion for the people, and you are showing us what it means to fight for a better future. Let's amplify his message and join him in this critical fight!

is something people in general underestimate. Booker is showing how it's done.

There's no more remaining neutral. Anyone who doesn't stand up and resist this fascist regime in any way possible...is complicit. No effort is too small.

Seeing this makes my day better. Thank you senator Booker!
