But I still get the "Bad Request" message when I try and log onto my SSA account.
I'm happy to get my check though, but this worrying every month if it will come really sucks.

(32,820 posts)Are you on a laptop or mobile device?
Have you CLEARED CACHE AND COOKIES ON the browser you are using to do this?
If you dont know how to do that, just google the name of your browser, for instance CHROME and clear cookies and cache and it will instruct you.
If you are using a mobile device also google that info or ChatGPT or I can get it for you if you need help.

(21,594 posts)I had a very difficult logging into my credit union.
It was asking for a cell phone and I do not have a cell phone, just a landline.
I persevered and finally got in and yes, my SSA check is there today, a few days early!

(82 posts)But as of June 2023, it began bouncing around from the last day of the previous month to the 2nd of the month, likely due to whether the payment date was on a weekday or a weekend. I should have received my payment today, but that hasn't happened. I'll give it another couple of days before I decide there's a problem.

(1,239 posts)My bank didn't show anything so I logged into SSA. It shows that mine has not gone to direct deposit yet on the payment history page.

(1,418 posts)The SS site won't accept my old username and password anymore. I'm guessing I'll have my money tomorrow, but it would have been nice to have had another early month.

(1,418 posts)It doesn't show as a deposit, but it's listed as available funds, so I can spend it. Good thing, too, the light bill is due. Whew. Now I get to start worrying about May's payment. Ain't life grand?

(23,867 posts)Well, I got to enjoy over 10 years of never having to worry about receiving my Social Security check the next month, to be able to plan. Sadly, even though I've not missed a check yet, I no longer have faith and trust in Social Security. Maybe that was the point.
