1. It is interesting to reverse engineer fallacious statements

The second one derives from the idea that if you made an iPhone in the US it would be cheaper than an iPhone tariffed at 54% (current rate set to be applied Wednesday on Chinese goods). But non-pigeons know that US fabrication costs are more expensive than China's and I don't need to explain any further. And of course the guy's "finally" wouldn't happen until about four years from now at the earliest, but probably never. The odds favour the latter outcome.

Higher manufacturing costs, plus higher wages = lower prices.
Sounds good. Maybe somewhere in the Universe that's true, but not here.
I don't know what passes for logic in these people, but I hope it's not contagious. Stupid would be an improvement for these people.

will ever be paying great wages to morons. Like have they never heard of automation? The repetitive jobs they are capable of will be done by robots, and the only good jobs will be done by people with the skills to keep the robots running.
It’s already happening. Are they blind?

8. Are you willing to buy more expensive quality products made by American robots?

Because any new factories that are built for manufacturing in America are going to be next generation robotics. There will be almost no one being paid wages other than a few robot repair mechanics. The next step will be robots building robots. At that point homo sapiens will be redundant. Welcome to the brave new world.

I remember so many of them complaining about the money going to Ukraine, aid, etc. saying we should take care of America first.

Now all of that is gone and DOGE is dismantling all of the social programs people rely on. Where is the money going to? Straight into Eloon's pockets.

I suspect the hold of this myth will diminish with time.
