I've been listening to our dismal media

talk about the plane. What I have not heard is anybody just plainly say "What on earth does a Presidential Library need with a fully functional mega-jet of it's very own? Are the personnel at these libraries so tight on their scheduling and where they have to go that normal airline travel isn't sufficient?"

Instead most of what I've heard has been about the prohibition in the Constitution etc. rather than the obvious laundering of $400 million dollars by way of DOD to the Presidential Library and then of course the plane would be used for the private purposes of Crumb the 1st or he would leverage a loan against it and fill his pockets.

Then right on cue when the issue didn't die after 2 days we get the "Joe is so feeble he was almost needing a wheelchair" crap. Or the media goes to the "Pam Bondi says it's OK" routine. Nobody in the media is brave enough to just come out and say "You know what it is no longer worthwhile to ask this Attorney General anything because if you ask an idiot a question you should expect an idiotic response."

1. Bondi is a graduate

Of the prestigious Stetson Law School. Bondi accepted a bribe from trump to drop the lawsuit against trump university. The twice divorced 59 year old Bondi knows her career is dependent upon corruption. Stetson wants their diploma back. Being ranked 99th in law schools isn’t helped when a grad says fuck the law I’ll do whatever he says. Speak up Stetson, is this what you teach? Is she what separates you from Harvard? I make myself chuckle.

The jet in question is 13 years old. Per Lawrence Odonell, Qatar Is getting rid of their trash to buy a US President. Mike Johnson should be so proud.

That the Slobfather will not be getting the plane.

In fact, his framing of the issue pretty much sealed it.

Now the GOP will have to accept the U.S. president is good enough for a 13 year old hand me down from the Middle East.

2. Read airplane will be part of the museum. People will enter the museum through the plane. Reagan's museum has one too

Think even Elvis Presley’s museum has one too.

If the plane is used for private purposes, trump would have to purchase it at fair market value. Same applied to the Obamas when Saudis gave them (really the USA) over a million in jewels.

What does Qatar get, a hundred years or more of publicly with “Gift from Qatar to America.” Sort of like the Statue of Liberty. These countries will pay to be part of Western world. Kind of like an 8 year I knew that rolled 50-cent pieces down the street hoping to attract kids as friends because no one liked him. (No it wasn’t trump.)

Of course, trump will siphon off a bit. On the other hand, Boeing and the new employees needed to produce 160 large planes, will be happy as well as the businesses/people that live off those employees.

trump will sell this as a huge “deal,” and his approval ratings will likely climb a bit among the MFers that supported him.

I despise the MFer, but he’s gonna pull this one out too by simply saying a few words, “I would have been a fool not to take the gift/deal.” And our criticism will once again give him a little victory.

But it’s highly likely I’m wrong.

And he’ll do something tomorrow that is worth severe criticism.

6. Honestly, I think trump will win this issue in public opinion. He'll tie the plane to Qatar's order for

a hundred something jumbo jets.

Sure, trump will profit from it somehow, but Boeing workers, those that live off them, and people who want one of those jobs at Boeing or the next big “deal” their boy lies about.

At some point our leaders need to focus on offering people something to vote for, rather criticizing everything he does. There’s plenty of stuff to criticize where he won’t win.

Converting a couple of percentage points from trump/GOP voters and a few percent of those who sat on sidelines, will give us House in 2026 and a similar Presidential race in 2028.

11. Great question

If the plane belongs to the library, it is an exhibit and will need a BIGLY hangar. If the library is designed to hold all the books Trump had read, perhaps the hangar is all that's needed.

BUT if the plane is to be operational for the personal use of The Felon, who pays the operational costs of fuel & pilots, maintenance, etc?
