'Brain is peanut butter': Trump mocked for calling Japanese leader 'Mr. Japan'

President Donald Trump was brutally mocked over the weekend after he referred to Japan's leader as "Mr. Japan."

The president made the statement during an interview with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo about tariffs. As his July 9 deadline for tariff deals approached, Trump said he would rather send a letter to countries instead of negotiating.

"But I'd rather just send them a letter, a very fair letter, saying, congratulations, whether it will allow you to trade in the United States of America," Trump told Bartiromo. "You're going to pay a 25% tariff, or 20% or 40% or 50%. I would rather do that."

"We'll send a letter and we'll say we would consider it a great honor, and this is what you'll have to do to shop in the United States," he opined. "We're like a department store to shop in the United States, and you'll pay a 25% tariff, or we wish you a lot of luck, and that's the end of the trade deal."

"I could send one to Japan. Dear Mr. Japan, here's the story. You're going to pay a 25% tariff on your cars.

A thinner consistency, and certainly not crunchy.

But I can see why that comparison might be more appropriate under certain circumstances than, say, the more clinically accurate "shit-for-brains". I'm sure Shigeru-san would agree.
What is far more disturbing, in my view, is that the South End of a Northbound Yak is still unable to grasp the very simple fact that, even though the nations with which we trade find his idiot tariffs more than a little annoying, the people they hurt the most are the very people who were stupid enough to vote for him. But then, the man is a fucking imbecile, so whaddya gonna do? Trouble is, he's got his greasy little ketchup-stained fingers on the nuclear football, and that's REALLY worrisome.

Happy Monday, by the way.

If it were a Biden quote, the NY Times and the rest of the trump-forgiving mainstream media wouldn't shut up about it for the next six months...

My enthusiastic support of Biden---and my non-stop vilification of trump---have been well-documented here on DU, for years and years.

I'll just leave it at that. I suggest you do the same.

It's the question I would pose to the MAGAts that support the idiot Crime Minister.

In this case, I think he's done it because his drug addled non-existent brain can't remember anyone's name, and even if he could the imbecile wouldn't be able to pronounce it.

Besides, the entire world knows by now all the nicknames we've come up with for this waste of oxygen.

Trump is trying to run the economy like an overpriced gift shop in one of his sleazy bedbug ridden branded properties which sits in the middle of a sea of express hotels with each offering an indoor pool and free breakfast bar.

I swear this guy could f**k up a $400 M inheritance… Oh, wait.

Since U.S. brands are only .3% of auto sales in Japan, I’m sure “Mr. Japan” will quickly find other stores in which to shop.
