If gross income inequality doesnt bother you; YOU ARE NOT A CHRISTIAN!
And don't try to "Jesus-explan" away otherwise. You will only embarrass yourself on your ignorance of your understanding on the true teachings of Jesus Christ.

(4,768 posts)For a whole host of reasons:
1. They are Christians because they say they are. Period. No one else can judge the validity of their beliefs. Others can only hold to their own different beliefs.
2. According to whose reading are they "not real Christians? Christian sects have been saying OTHER Christian sects aren't real Christians for millennia, thus this argument is very tiresome.
3. Christians have been waging war and crusades against the "other" for millennia, so this lot are square in the age-old Christian tradition.
4. No one outside the Christian faith understands or accepts the meaning of this statement. From the perspective of "the other," this is quintessential Christian behavior.
If we're going for a characterization that has real meaning, we should be reaching for "anti-humanity" or "monster zealots" or something that gets to the heart of how damaging their crimes against humanity are.

And the parts about how difficult it is for rich people to enter into Heaven, and about how one should pray quietly instead of boasting on streetcorners. And that bit about doing unto others as you would have them do unto you. And probably a lot more.
