Anniversary of the fire-fighting exercise that burned part of a FORMER

aryan nations compound.

I have read several posts discussing a possible link between the shooter and that event. I was curious, so I looked it up. "Torching the aryan nations compound" makes it sound like the branch davidian thing. Not so. The ABANDONED compound was the property of the Carr Foundation, which had purchased it from the guy who was awarded it in a settlement. And, if one looks at the reporting at the time, the exercise actually started on 26 June. So, if there is a link, it seems to be made of gossamer.
