If Trump's crew is admitting to a vascular condition

There is a good chance something more is really wrong. Typically, authoritarians are strongly averse to exposing any perceivable weakness which is why Trump and his crew have thus far offered ridiculously false reports about his health to date. For them to be willing to publicly admit to chronic venous insufficiency, it would have to seem nominal compared to what is really wrong.

I also think the "bruising from handshaking" bit sounds like a crock. Why do the bandages and make-up only appear on the back of his hand? That isn't the area that is gripped when shaking hands. Why aren't there bruises all over his hand, rather that just in the same area that coincides with blood vessels often used in IVs?

I have nothing concrete to base this on other than the precedence of his behavior, but there is no statement from his camp that can be trusted.

is being treated with Remicade Infusions, which can go in the hand if they can't find a spot in the arm.

What are other infusions he might be taking?

16. My father started out with bruising on his hands. It ended up being his arms up to the elbow.

For years, we were told it was anemia, until finally we got the diagnosis it was myelofibrosis, which is treated with very expensive cancer drugs. Two pills a day at $2K each, luckily paid for by Medicare and his job insurance. It's where the bone marrow stops making red blood cells properly. He lived six years past diagnosis, among the longest time of anyone the doctor had ever seen. He was in his 80s when diagnosed.

know that Hitler was suffering from Parkinson's, was on the verge of a mental breakdown, etc.

I agree that there's much more about TSF that we're not being told.

My guess is that it's much worse than revealed. For example, why is Emil Bove's nomination being rushed in the Senate. The Republicans in the Judiciary Committee are more than cutting corners; they're ignoring the Rules for progressing the nomination process. As Sen. Corey Booker (D-NJ) stated, in all likelihood, Bove will be confirmed even if the Senate Rules are followed. Why the rush?

I'll tell you why the rush: because if TSF is on his last legs (it's possible) and doesn't survive, "the Spell" will be broken. You'll have the scene in The Wizard of Oz where the Flying Monkeys realize The Wicked Witch is dead and they're free. And they don't have the perpetual threat of Trump to make arbitrary choices. And if Bove isn't voted as Appeals Judge for the Third Circuit NOW, then he won't be when TSF is gone.

They are admitting to the least serious thing that could cause the visible symptom - the swelling around the ankles that can’t be denied. Because of course they are. Of course they are lying. When are they not lying?
And the handshaking bit - what a laugh. Handshaking does not cause bruising on the back of the hand, and if it did, why cover it up with makeup? He would never do that. If it were true he would brag about it, not cover it up.
They’re lying about everything.

My husband died of this. He had a lot of vein problems and had two surgeries on his legs before he died. They rerouted the bad veins in his legs to healthier veins. He was a mess.

Not long after this, the dementia set in big time.

It states on his death cert. that he died from vascular dementia.

Not good, not good at all.

I truly feel sorry for anyone that has this condition.

As his caretaker, my life was a living hell.

Yes living with a dementia patient can be very difficult.

The entire US may get a full dose of this situation.

The

The proverbial shoe sure fits as it explains the situation.

Once it sets in, the individual's time tends to be short.

In my late husband's case, he was dx'd in Feb. and gone in May. It is highly genetic. Of the 10 kids in his family, seven died of dementia. A very ugly picture. Some were Alzheimer's others were Lewy Body and himself was Vascular Dementia.

He left behind 38 nieces and nephews and dozens of grand nieces and nephews. There is one living sister that last I heard was having symptoms of dementia. The descendants of this family are scared and not reproducing much due to this gene that runs in his family from Ireland.

The veins in the brain are basically shot to all hell and the behavior of the individual afflicted is erratic and bizarre at best. What a hell was for me.

Three months.

I appreciate your condolences. Thank you.

It must be a particularly over-the-top lie, since she usually lies smoothly and without apparent remorse or fear.

Yep, they're covering up something worse. As for the whole "handshake" lie, his niece and others point out that the whole "germophobe" claim was ginned up as an excuse because he doesn't like shaking hands. Everything that comes out of Trump's camp is all lies on top of lies.
