this firing by CBS shows fascism is here. On the other hand, I have never forgiven Colbert for his treatment of Hillary Clinton in 2016. He just kept on joking about her emails, and in essence mocking her at every opportunity. Yes, he made jokes about tsf but that only made them seemed equal. Whether he likes it or not, he aided in destroying her candidacy. Both side-ism at its finest. In 2024, he wouldn't let up on the Biden being old jokes, cementing the idea that Biden is too old.

Considering that the attitude by many on the left with crap like “hold my nose“ is exactly how Trump became president.

The number of people who were gonna vote but heard how neither candidate could be trusted, and here we are.
