Anon. Israeli military officials deny Hamas routinely steals aid - NYT

Interesting Timing…..

Anonymous IDF officials claimed there was no evidence to suggest that Hamas routinely stole humanitarian aid, the New York Times reported on Saturday, while denying the Israeli military ever published proof that the Palestinian terror group systematically looted humanitarian resources.

A deeply flawed US government analysis, published by Reuters on Friday, astonishingly concluded there was no evidence of systematic theft by Hamas of US-funded humanitarian supplies. This finding directly contradicts overwhelming evidence and testimony, raising serious questions about the report's methodology and its challenge to the rationale for Israeli and US backing of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF).

Unless of course they are planning on dropping a team of special forces for every aid that is air dropped.

I think Macrons move is kind of novel. It is not that different from the Oslo Accords, but he has packaged it in a different way. Sometimes that is all you need to do.

5. WHY???

Why would anyone AT THIS POINT want the "Hamas steals aid" claim to be true?

It has been denied by all humanitarian agencies. The article you linked to smears them, implying they act out of self-interest or fear. Smearing and discrediting the UN is what Israel does.

There WAS looting and stealing happening. Ask Israel why it funded and turned a blind eye to Al-Queda or ISIS- affiliated tribes and criminal gangs systematically looting aid trucks and spreading lawlessness and civil collapse.

Ask Israel why it systematically killed policemen and security guarding the aid trucks - helping spread further law and order breakdown and creating fear among the aid workers leading to fewer deliveries.

Ask Israel why it has systematically destroyed the aid distribution system -warehouses, UNRWA buildings, headquarters, WHO warehouse, bombed bakeries - AND blocked the entry of aid trucks for nearly FIVE months amounting to a siege. Ask why it refuses to ensure the safe passage and movement of aid trucks, endangering UN staff. Why it makes the UN jump through a myriad bureaucratic and logistical hoops or refuses approval for half of the UN's requests to pick up aid.

The answer should be plain by now. There is nothing Israel will not do, no lie or action leading to mass suffering it will not stoop to, to achieve its goal of "cleansing" Gaza of its people and making it part of Israel.

I don't know about you, but I am horrified by the Palestinian people's immense suffering. As if they haven't suffered enough, now it's this atrocity of hunger and starvation. Do you know what it's like to die of starvation? For children? You should read up on that. It might help you to see that pushing a narrative that Israel has used to effect the starvation - a narrative that is now being discredited further - is going to help prolong that starvation. Nobody wants that, right?
