'You don't have to remind me': Fox News host bristles when confronted by Dem

A military veteran serving as a Congressional representative clashed with Fox News host Martha MacCallum on Wednesday over whether military members are allowed to disobey illegal orders.

Rep. Jason Crow (D-CO), a former Army ranger who completed three tours of duty, and MacCallum discussed Rep. Elissa Slotkin's (D-MI) comments from earlier in the day on her show "The Story." Slotkin said in a social media video featuring several House Democrats that military members do not have to follow orders that violate the Constitution.

“No one has to carry out orders that violate the law, or our Constitution,” the video says. “Know that we have your back… don’t give up the ship.”

allows military personnel to refuse to follow unlawful orders. The Nuremberg Accords rendered moot the "I was only following orders" defense in war crimes cases.
