It starts with refusing to call the party by its name

Last edited Fri Nov 21, 2025, 05:55 AM - Edit history (1)

- Democratic Party. Now it has reached the point where he is calling for the death of elected Democrats who are merely advising military folks not to disobey the law or the Constitution on Donvict’s behalf.

Since Jan 6, 2021, the real seditionists are the MAGAt in chief and his goons.

So we let them deliberately insult us every time they talk about us and don’t fight back for some reason. Because we think it’s beneath us or it’s too boring. I don’t understand.

1. Leadership does not understand we are in a fight for the survival of our country.

2. Perhaps they understand this, but have decided to give Trump and pals enough rope to hang themselves.
It is called the long game but it is very hard to watch.

You totally disengage from the abuser.
Let everyone else see clearly who the abuser is.
And people grow to hate the abuser more each day.

But certainly not enough. I can't remember any specific time, but it always caught my ear when the correction would be pointed out. It would be something to the effect of, "that's Democratic party, not Democrat party". I'm a real stickler for knowing how powerful words can be. It may seem like a small issue but it does affect people's perceptions.

They use derogatory "nicknames" for people. We all know that trump does it constantly. It's usually a sign that they feel inferior intellectually to the ones they are putting down. On some level they are self-loathing.

After all, aren't they manipulated enough to equate red letters to the Bible's red letter text. That could work subconsciously on them changing their attitudes... just a separate level of reprogramming.

Six Democrat Members of Congress -- all with military or intelligence backgrounds -- recently released a video urging members of the U.S. military and Intelligence Community to "refuse illegal orders."
To say that I am disturbed this video is an understatement. As a former Air Force JAG, I take the issue of unlawful orders very seriously, and I cannot find a single example of an illegal order during this administration.
To that end, I believe these Democrats owe it to the country to be specific about which orders they think are unlawful.

Every time they attack a Hispanic with the ‘speak English’, I’d bring up the Democratic v Democrat as used by Donvict’s et al.

Certain members have a knack of saying "Democrat" rather than "Democratic." It's infuriating.

Not saying DUers write it with bad intentions, but whenever I point it out I usually get a response something along the lines of "what's the big deal?"

They all have been coming on the media repeating the same lines no matter the subject. Some people have just began to catch on. I have watch Thune and the rest of the gang stand behind Mitch McConnell for yrs going along with every criminal act there is. Especially, not letting Obama seat a supreme. 😡.

38. I call the opposition "regressive" or the regressive party
Fri Nov 21, 2025, 03:43 PM
Nov 21

I'm not "name-calling" and I use this is everyday conversation.

I know by general conversation if someone is political and how they vote. For example if they use the terms "Obamacare" instead of the ACA I know that this person is a regressive and votes accordingly.

A few definitions of regressive:

1. becoming less advanced; returning to a former or less developed state

2. (of a tax) taking a proportionally greater amount from those on lower incomes

3. tending to regress or produce regression

A few listed synonyms:
backward, decline, worsen, deteriorating, outdated, primitive, fossilized, rightist, ultraconservative

As far as I'm concerned it's a two way street. It was a long time ago but I was asked if I'm a "demorat". So I asked if they were regressive and backwards.
