3. No, thats not what happened. This is a deep red district in a deep red state.

The Democrat way overperformed the numbers for Trump and the GOP candidate from just a year ago, by a LOT... not enough to win, no one expected it in that district. But the shift itself is a huge warning sign for the GOP congress critters.

If every red district has a +13% shift towards Dems in every congressional election in 2026, pretty sure we'd take back the House easily, probably have a majority of at least 10 I'd guess, possibly quite a few more, as long as the opposite didn't happen in too many blue areas.
