Well, I had a meltdown tonight..

Trump and his threats to invade Greenland threw me over the top. This could all be ended if Congress would grow a spine and impeach him.
Cowards or complicit, I don't give a fuck why they won't act. This Congress is going to own this inaction until the end of time.
God bless America. I hope the Repubic survives.

Noem's fucking lies made me puke. So glad Jacob Frey told ICE to F off. Why do we have to live like this? I want the status quo back NOW

5. Oddly enough, it might be to the GOP's political advantage TO impeach and convict him,

ahead of the mid-term elections, at least with independents, BUT----

that would probably cause much of their MAGGOT base voters to stay home for that election
(that is, those who were not already too lazy to vote without Trump on the ballot)

So YEAH, nothing will be done before the Democrats retake the House,
and even if they DO impeach him, conviction in the Senate is unlikely

(although in Trump's last impeachment over 'January 6th',
a good half-dozen Republican senators DID vote to convict him---
which was a FIRST over the previous two presidential impeachment trials
where NO senators had ever voted to convict a president of their own party!)

The Serenity Prayer

Dear God,
Please grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.

Among the best bits of wisdom that religion has to offer.
