Remember how they used to say, The South shall rise again? They have. And their cancer metastasized throughout all corners of the US society.

(2,688 posts)It would require a number of Republicans in the Senate to do so(nobody thinks Democrats can take 67 seats). So, if they finally agree, it would seem that they would be done with him. 2. Dems are 3 votes away from majority in house after the midterms, a Vance scandal of some sort followed by Trump impeachment, resignation (for health), or death could change the whole picture. Also unlikely but these are extraordinary times. Massive anti-trust actions or threats of investigation are two tools a Democratic congress could use to drive change or reign in abuses.

Check out Indivisible to find local fellow resisters! Knowing you're not alone in real life & not just virtually, will really help! I put out a different yard sign every day & was about to give up last March & then one day I found a note stuck in my door that said, "Thank you for putting out your signs every day. I'm so glad I'm not alone." Since then, I've gotten three more notes, one in the mail with $20 in it, & often, when people see me out in the yard they honk & give me a
