Those guys are recruited from the worst of the worst and are not vetted and are poorly trained. They have been recruited as an army of occupation, convinced their fellow citizens are forming some sort of insurgency determined to replace lily white WASPs with brown skinned people.

These guys didn't need much convincing, they've heard the date 2032 as the date of the Great Replacement, when WASPs will no longer be a majority, since the day they were born. Plus, they're too stupid to challenge the idea that pale skin will suddenly disappear altogether 6 years from now.

I can see our local police being as useless but maybe for a different reason. First, this is a sanctuary city, meaning they can't offer any assistance to ICE or the border patrol (something they're actually good with). Second, they won't interfere with these groups, preferring to let the courts figure out the legal niceties surrounding jurisdiction. It's just going to take the courts a fucking long time to do this, allowing the Gestapo to run amok in the meantime.

we should have a discussion about the level of resistance that is needed to defend ourselves against ICE, i.e., pepper spray, tasers, fire extinguishers. These are non-lethal.

If it was a man (not ICE) that was threatening me with harm I would respond and it wouldn't be with words, and it would be considered self-defense under the law. Why are we applying a double standard to ICE and this regime by letting them assault us without consequence???
