Can someone explain to me why an ICE Agent should have

"absolute immunity" against illegally shooting ANYONE b/c he/she is a federal agent?

If my local police did the same thing, he/she would be immediately taken off duty, his/her gun taken away, maybe placed on desk duty while suspended, interviewed by the prosecutor, and taken to trial with possible conviction and imprisonment.

If local prosecutors were to bring state charges against a federal officer, the officer could also try to claim federal immunity from state prosecution and thereby move the case to federal court, Timothy Sini, a former federal prosecutor in New York, told CNN.

At that point, the federal judge would have to determine whether the federal officer is protected by immunity. That would depend on the Supremacy Clause, which asks whether the officer subjectively believed the conduct was necessary to carry out federal duties, and whether the officer’s conduct was objectively reasonable under the circumstances.

If an officer is convicted of a state-law crime—regardless of whether the case plays out in federal or state court—the President does not have the power to pardon him.

Federal prosecutors can also bring federal charges against a federal officer. But Green says there’s reason to be skeptical that Trump-appointed U.S. Attorneys and Trump-appointed Department of Justice officials would do that.

He killed a lesbian. He's doing his job. What's the problem?

People are slow to realize that these are f*cking Nazis. Can you imagine an original Nazi in the mid-1930s catching any flack over shooting a Jew or a lesbian in the streets? From the Nazi point of view, he did exactly what they wanted him to do and how dare anyone object. And now how can we get rid of more minorities?

The entire federal response has made it clear they completely approve of what he did. They're not just clearing or protecting him. They want more of this.

We're wasting our time talking about rules and laws and policies that they have no intention to abide by. The rules they operate by are the rules the Nazis operated by. Harassing and harming and killing immigrants and minorities and women and lgbtq is their mission and anyone who gets in their way even for a moment can be killed.

The only possible mistake they'll ever admit to is that maybe he wasted the second and third bullet.

You really don't need to shoot people who overstayed their visas or who hopped the border.
