The latest 15% global tariffs levied by Trump must be renewed by Congress in 150 days.

Does he really think Congress will extend them in July right before a mid term election when they’re all up for reelection?

I don’t see his political calculus here.

There's no enforcement. DOJ won't do anything.

4. He can impose "new" 150 day Section 122 tariffs when the current ones expire.

His WH lawyers will craft some kind of language defining them as “new” and different from the current tariffs.
