About the Navy Medical Ship going to Greenland

Trump announced he was sending the USS Mercy to Greenland. The only problem with this is the USS Mercy arrived in Mobile, Ala. last July to undergo repairs which will take a year. Its sister ship, the USS Comfort, is also in Mobile undergoing repairs and is expected to be completed in April. So how is a ship undergoing repairs going to make it to Greenland?

So once again, he's spewing BS.

Note: I toured the USS Mercy about 15 years ago with our local CERT group while it was docked in its home port of San Diego. It's really an amazing ship. Having worked in AF hospitals, I recognized a lot of equipment as well as the services they provide.

This is why he wanted to take over Canada/Greenland. He screwed up with tariffs and Carney easily outfoxed him. Our airlines are losing billions due to flyover restrictions and must go the longer route.

they dont seem to get much use. maybe it just isnt news, but the last time i heard of 1 being deployed was after hurricane maria. they parked it far enough out that almost no 1 got to use it.
