MD-GOV: 'They should be ready': Maryland Gov. Wes Moore, Lt. Gov. Aruna Miller file for reelection
ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Gov. Wes Moore and Lt. Gov. Aruna Miller made their re-election intentions official Monday morning at the state's Board of Elections.
Moore said he's excited about the momentum that he and Miller have created in the state. However, he realizes there's more work to do, which drove the decision to run for re-election.
The two were joined by a rowdy crowd of supporters. Although they announced their intentions to run again in September, the two filed for re-election, just barely beating Tuesday's deadline.
Moore was quick to tout his first-term success after officially signing the paperwork.
