I do not understand an attraction to children.

I cringe to see a 50 year old naked, if they shaved off their hair. Because anything that looks young just does not attract me. I do not understand this attraction to kids. Why is a 45, 55 or even 65 year old man interested in an 8 year old child for? Is the adult truly interested in hearing about the child's day? They are not going to talk about the stock exchange.

In my day, if any older man took an interest in me, my mom would be disgusted. It is hard for me to fathom the interest in children by such a large swath of rich and powerful men. What are these men lacking? How damaged are they? They could go to a bar and find a fully formed adult, or maybe a brothel, but they want barely formed human beings. I just do not understand.

As I have posted on several occasions, my secondary private school, a boarding and day school located in Bucks County, PA, was a haven for these folks. I am the moderator of a FB group which deals with the survivors: the reason I was chosen was that I was not a victim, but for a variety of reasons, was familiar with the faculty and staff during one particularly bad era, and have some clinical training. These individuals gravitate towards schools for the same reason that Willie Sutton, when asked why he robbed banks, replied that “That’s where the money is.”, that that’s where the kids are.

15. It's attraction....like a hunter to prey

They may want "good looking" or "developed" victims but make no mistake, this arousal isn't sexual, it's sociopathic, it borders on the traits of hypersexuality mixed with malignant narcissism. They need to consume and cannot be satiated....money, resources, lives, bodies.

It's more so children rather than adults because children can be deeply exploited, manipulated, and silenced.

It's cult thinking that children are pure, they have something to take, adults are spent and have a greater likelihood to speak out or even fight back.

It was or God forbid is still the hunt for the easy prey, just like ICE going for soft targets rather than bad hombres. They are not attracted to the child but to the taboo and ease they can harm their victims with impunity.
