His “speaking”:

Lies
Half truths
Delusion
Gaslighting
Rancor
Incoherence
Venom
Nastiness

And he’ll go on, and on, and on. Perhaps a record in terms on length. No joke. It will be a loooooong night.

That's the first tip-off....

He literally cannot complete one thought without flying off to 5 or 6 others. I don't believe it's a sign of dementia because he's been doing it his whole life. That's why the news media always edits him down to sound bytes, because Chump's unedited speech pattern is nothing but word salads.

He doesn't just ramble these days. His mind wanders all over the place, and he can't stay on track to save his life. The word salad has become word confetti.

Experts who have studied his speech ppatterns and compared recordings of him speaking now and at various times in the past have commented on how his speech and thought processes have deteriorated and are continuing to go downhill as we speak. The decline has been gradual, because that's bow dementia works.

Check out this post I made the other day for one expert's opinion: https://www.democraticunderground.com/1322107326

If he manages to follow the teleprompter and stick to what's on there, he may manage to sound reasonably coherent, but don't let that fool you.

He's a mess. It will mostly be a whine fest—a litany of grievances perpetrated against him since...well, forever. From his ramblings that I read yesterday, he wants to take credit for all 250 years of American progress. Apparently we were a failed state until he came along.

Hopefully he will stroke out on live TV.

I think, anyway.

Narcissists are famous for it. Drawing attention to themselves by acting weird, mispronouncing words, stumbling movements, dozing, etc. ANYTHING that gets them attention and/or gives them the option later to not be accountable.

If he has agency in this facade, he wouldn't need a lot of drugs other stimulants or something

I don't think so. No way he'd doze off after calling Biden sleepy Joe for four years. And a belligerent he-man type of guy doesn't want people seeing him stumble & have difficulty with simple movements. He's deteriorating & trying to hide it. I read he leaned heavily on Melania at the gov's meeting. If she's going to a gov's meeting, you know she's in on the coverup. She's probably just a little less anxious for him to die than the rest of us.

He is going to be on national TV. Don't have any idea of the audience size but there likely will be millions watching some or all.

"The media" -- including those who are slavishly devoted to Trump -- will be watching.

I really believe, especially if he drones on and on, gets off script, repeats his usual easily-disproven lies - - - there's a chance albeit a small chance that heretofore fence-sitting commentators and public will decide "This drooling old fool is off his rocker . . . WTF can we do to get rid of him??" There's a slim chance the dam will break tonight.

As an aside: Don't put it past him to order bombing of Iran just before the speech and announce that we started and won the war in 15 minutes.
