Tonight we're going to hear how the stock market is booming...

...That investors are reaping great rewards thanks to his applied business acumen.
This chart is Trump Media and Technology Group (DJT) going back to the month he took office one year ago and up to today.:

Trump Media & Technology Group (DJT) is undergoing significant changes, including the proposed acquisition of ETFs and the launch of new investment strategies. However, the company faces challenges with a 63.27% decline in share price over the past year and substantial losses.

It might be the time to buy because it can't possibly sink any lower, can it? Can it? LOL

It's the SOTU, watching it doesn't cause anyone to challenge their own beliefs or appear to appease him. i find these addresses quite entertaining.
I guess if it causes serious mental anguish to hear him speak I can understand why, but plugging ones fingers in ones ears doesn't make anyone more informed.

Then too I suffer from low blood pressure and it'll probably be therapeutic.

Overseas markets are outperforming U.S. markets in 2026 due to significantly more attractive valuations, a weakening U.S. dollar, and a rotation away from concentrated U.S. mega-cap tech stocks.

I wonder what the actual figure is, most would be from 401k, but a lot of jobs don't have that.

For many years, could explain some Trump votes if they think he makes it higher or keeps it high for his rich friends.

And that was when he was "destroying America".

Comparison: As of late 2024, the stock market's performance under Biden was considered the second-best in modern history going back to 1945, only behind that of the 1990s.

Trump will take his victory lap for him since he isn't in office anymore

Pointing to the stock market when people feel differently about the economy is just going to make Trump seem out of touch. It didn't work for the Biden administration either with a much stronger rate of job growth and Trump's self-inflicted tariffs. And Trump lacks Biden's humility and general decency (or any other redeeming quality) to keep his bragging in check that will only serve to make Trump look out of touch with reality.
