Everything they're quoting Trump on is a lie. They are just being stenographers for Trump instead of actually fact-checking him.

The difference is that the Guardian is doing live updates and not live fact checking.
It is a different kind of reporting.

7. Right, But live updates without constant fact checking becomes stenography

which does nobody any favors. The Guardian is generally great, but just spelling out what Trump is saying without more thorough fact checking is not up to their usual standard of reporting.

3. Al Green kicked out of the chamber.

Democratic representative Al Green, who was reprimanded for interrupting Trump’s address last year, was just ejected from the House chamber.

“Black people aren’t apes!” sign he held.

A Republican tried to make him put it down but Green refused. Senator Markwayne Mullin walked over and tried to stop Green before the pair had a brief argument.
