I really love how forthright Ted Lieu is. . .

TED LIEU: "The Epstein files are being blocked because they show Trump raped children."

A sitting congressman said this on the record.

has not even threatened to sue Ted Lieu for making that statement.

Why is that? Because:

1) It's true

2) Trump doesn't want that discovery coming out in court

it means the rest aren't doing their part. This should be normal, common.

If t.rump was a Dem president, you can bet your house the gop would be calling him a rapist and a pedophile 24/7 on every news program, every podcast and every social media platform.

Props to Ted Lieu who is one of the few Dems who is meeting the moment.

I really wish this would be the norm for the entirety of our leadership. Direct, plain speaking that doesn't get lost in argle-bargle and frames the issue the way we want it instead of working within Republican frames. Senator Murphy's shooting down CNN's recent questioning (using Republican framing, of course), about "why we don't support the troops" was another great example of this.

Ted is solid and there are others. Maybe we could each add a Dem that works their @$$ off! I’ll start ….Jamie Raskin he is solid and never stops fighting for this country and the American people. Amy Klobuchar has worked for the people through major health issues and never stopped speaking up and out. Pete Buttigieg has been a presence on FOX news for years. Holding their feet to the fire. His knowledge and support goes without saying. All of these people face threats to their own safety and that of their families. That’s a start.

We need straight talk. Trump didn't molest, offend, exploit 13- and 14-year old children. He RAPED THEM. We have to stop sugar-coating everything, especially when the Reps are protected by the Speech & Debate clause.

When he told Bondi she lied to Congress he was right on. I think he’s one of our best.

But I do see others being out there telling the truth. They may be on other subjects but the message is clear.

Both of them have been working on following the money trail created by Epstein and all the banks that enabled him. If they can finish pulling those strings it will yank the whole evil cabal out into the open. They're being blocked from viewing the full records by the scum bags in Rump's DOJ.
And, a reminder is needed for all the people constantly harping that "Democrats don't do enough, or are bad at messaging ": the problem is the Corporate Owned McGreedia, who are all owned by billionaires. We can call them the Epstein class. Dems don't have a giant megaphone to blast our message everywhere, 24/7. And, we don't have a bottomless money supply to wage lawsuits against anyone who dares to speak out against this evil regime.
I completely understand our frustration, but constantly attacking Dems as not doing enough can discourage the people who didn't vote to just not bother. Attacking Dems for not being perfect helps the propaganda that the Guardians of Pedophiles and the Corporate McGreedia are pushing: that resistance is useless, that their hegemony is inevitable, that we should just give up. Hopelessness and feeling helpless is what they want.
We need to support our Democratic candidates, not tear them down.
Sadly, the easy way out of this mess was last November. Too many eligible voters decided to let the election go to Christofacist wanna be dictators. Now, we're stuck with doing the gut hard work of getting them ousted.
Please look for the good that the Democrats are doing and share it everywhere. The McGreedia won't. They're in the tank for theocracy and plutocracy.
