8. Yes...as bad as things are, my feeling is that this administration and supporters haven't even begun to hit

their home stretch stride in corrupting/diminishing norms, laws, common sense, justice, fairness. What they've done so far tells me we aren't going to have free and fair 2026 elections and that they have much bigger plans yet to come. It think it's fair, at this point, to assume the worst...and it's likely to be more realistic than giving them the benefit of the doubt.

Court losses, bad polls, poor policy outcomes merely mean they go to the more treacherous and outrageous plan b's in their pile of tactics and strategies to overturn whatever is in their way. The trajectory is not good.

It may very well be that, in Trump's mind, he's not ever leaving the WH. In the minds of his handlers, he's leaving but there's likely a second fascist authoritarian lined up. The global powers won't be giving up their decades long expensive plan to concentrate wealth and power.
