by this time next week, with Greenland whispering to the crown, "enjoy it for two weeks, he'll find another shiny squirrel by mid-May."

As we all know, he is literally capable of doing just about anything, with absolutely no warning, for any or no reason whatsoever. I feel like I'm constantly on edge, worrying about what might be coming next.

Johnson claps. Vance keeps his hands folded.

Because that’s what he does when it comes to defending democracy in Europe. Or anywhere.

he at least wasn't trying to help Hitler. His populace had no desire for war and he well knew it. He was trying to buy time and in the case of radar which allowed them to survive the battle of Britain, he did actually help greatly. Trump and Vance isn't facing sacrificing our troops at all just using money and weapons to help another country fight our enemy.

I'm in tears listening to this. This man is ILL, and was probably forced to make this trans Atlantic trip for what? "Mend the relationship" with the US and that orange shitstain in that gawdy, tacky Oval Office. And that fucker Vance, and others I'm sure, showing disrespect over the Ukraine issue. Really, Assholes? You're that petty and childish? Yes, they are. Totally embarrassed ( in a long line of embarrassments) by this whole thing.

Obviously, I'm not a monarchist, but King Charles is giving a measured, thoughtful, and unifying speech here. A tad soporific. The audience is thirsty for this sort of bland, but calm stewardship.

Makes a strong claim for the sort of monarchy that the UK has... In times like these, I prefer their head of state or ours.

to properly celebrate the 250th year anniversary of telling King George to go to hell why don't we hang his great, great, great, great grandson on the White House grounds? He is there so why not? Wouldn't that be a hoot and a grand
"fuck you" to the rest of the world? No Kings!!!!

(just kidding, I wish him a long life) Great speech by the way.
