Melissa Hortman, her husband and their dog were assassinated, and State Sen. John Hoffman and his wife were badly wounded. Both lawmakers are/were members of the DFL, the Democratic party in Minnesota.

When the victim is a republican not only is Fox blasting it out 24/7 but so are all the other media outlets.

The Melissa Hortman (and her husband and dog) murder story was a blip on the news. This was an actual politically motivated assassination. AND the same man shot another Dem rep John Hoffman 9 times and his wife 8 times... they survived. This should've been a massive story. Did trump call for the death penalty for him?

(IMO) Had they been republicans it would've been maximized on Fox and every R representative would be on every channel twisting the story to somehow blame the Dems.
