Would it be possible, or desirable to haul certain members of the USSC in for hearings as a prelude to possible impeachment?

Impeachment is a political act, not legal. No violation of law is required to impeach.

I doubt he has worried about covering up the bribes.
He ruled that gratuities are legal. So as long as the payola came in after the vote he and the sinister six have covered themselves

Say if a justice were to rob a bank, sure. But proving and convicting to the level of an impeachment for even low level crime conviction would be next to impossible.

Sure in theory we could impeach them for that, but the odds are about equal to Thomas being abducted by aliens.
