Alabama Republicans are now demanding a gerrymandered map that would turn Alabama completely red. This comes just hours

holy moly.

Alabama Republicans are now demanding a gerrymandered map that would turn Alabama completely red.

This comes just hours after the Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act, which could eliminate 10 Black-majority districts in the South.

Probably guaranteed (maybe not).

But on the grand scheme of the redistricting battles, they still lose badly.

republicans have, for decades, controlled states like AL, Mississippi, TX, etc. It's clear they only want to help rich whiteys and, at this point, unless we, the people, are marching in the streets again (and getting bloodied by the next bull connor) then nothings going to happen.
