1,500 beagles from Ridglan Farms set to be transferred to organizations
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Two organizations announced Thursday that they reached an agreement with Ridglan Farms to buy 1,500 beagles from the facility, setting the dogs up for adoption by families in Wisconsin and nationwide.
The presidents of both Big Dog Ranch Rescue and the Center for a Humane Economy and Animal Wellness Action made the announcement during a press conference Thursday.
Ridglan Farms confirmed to WMTV 15 News on Wednesday that it reached an agreement to sell a substantial majority of its dogs to different groups that agreed to buy the dogs for an undisclosed amount of money.
The groups would not confirm the amount of money they spent on the agreement.

I am hearing so many mixed message on this. First, I'm grateful for ANY of the dogs that are getting out. But some reports say that Ridglan will continue to breed with the remaining dogs. They supposedly had their STATE license suspended for breeding, but still have a FEDERAL license???? If that's the case, it won't be long until they are right back where they are now.
Also hear that Lara Trump coughed up a million to buy the dogs that are getting out. Forgive my skepticism, but what's in it for her?
Anyone heard any better and more accurate details?
