Two CNN stars have called for Scott Jennings to be fired from the network for his F-bomb meltdown at a contributor on live TV.
Former CNN anchor Jim Acosta called for hot-head Jennings to be fired.
Writing on his Substack, he said, Lighten up, Scott! Mockler is almost a kid. And a nice one at that. Either way, Jennings should be fired. As James Earl Jones announces every so often in the network promos, This is CNN. Not an episode of the Jerry Springer Show.
Recalling his own interactions with Jennings, Acosta added, Jennings was a bit of a hot-head when I worked at CNN. I recall his glaring at me following one segment when I fact-checked him in real time. But wow, what happened Thursday night was next level. Mockler really got his goat.

(393 posts)A week ago, he would not let ThePoliticGirl talk.
He was like some small dog, nipping at her every, other, word.
He was loud, pushy; he was punching her down with his demeanor.
Now I watch until Phillips loses control of her show.
At that point, I turn the channel.
I have decided, If Scott is on the show, I go elsewhere.

(25,680 posts)CNN may think he is entertaining, but watching a grown man throw childish tantrums and lie to avoid responsibility is too cringy to be entertaining.
