Hegseths "senior advisor", Tim Parlatore, has no security clearance, and was Hegseth's personal lawyer in his sexual assault case.
He now has a desk right outside of Hegseths office in the Pentagon.

Kegsbreath looked like he was pissing his pants.
Can we all remember please that Tim Parlatore, now in the news for advising SecDef Pete Hegseth, was Trump's personal lawyer defending him against charges related to his January 6 coup attempt.

(6,569 posts)Hegseth gives the strongest impression that he's hiding whatever info the committee members are asking for. What's he hiding and why? He makes himself look completely nefarious, untrustworthy, and incompetent. Dodging and hiding are his immediate response. Doesn't say much about his character.
