He would have nobody to answer to, nobody to check his worst impulses, and likely nobody to ever hold him accountable.

Yes, Putin is a horrible person and worse than Trump in many respects, but I think it's better if Trump dies first so that democracy here and abroad stands a better chance of survival, without him undermining and subverting it for his and Putin's gain.
